The Chief Executive Officer of Buruj Sports Academy, Dr. Waheed Buruj, has applauded the Nigeria Sports Commission for its commendable efforts in promoting youth development through sports, especially as demonstrated in the ongoing African School Games Championship taking place in Algeria.
Buruj Sports Academy teenage football prodigy, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen, is among 60 Nigerian student-athletes who have departed for Annaba, Algeria on 2 am on Thursday ( July 24 2025) via British Airways to participate in the maiden African School Sports Championship, scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 5, 2025.
Buruj Sports Academy marked another milestone today as the final group of its players departed Nigeria on January 12th for European clubs, continuing the academy’s legacy of producing world-class football talents.
