Buruj FC Product Samson Ubong Impresses in Granada Training, Expresses Gratitude for the Opportunity
Former Buruj FC player Samson Ubong trained with Spanish side Granada on Thursday, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity provided by the club.
Ubong, who currently plays for Motril CF in the Spanish fourth division, was invited for a one-day training and trial session with Granada. The talented forward made a strong impression by scoring a goal during the session and praised the club’s world-class training facilities.
Known for his pace and technical ability, Ubong has been adapting well to the high standards of European football. Playing for Motril CF, he has already recorded seven goals and four assists this season. His outstanding performances earned him an invitation from Granada, and he did not disappoint, showcasing his skills and appreciating the club’s warm reception and top-tier training facilities.
Speaking after an intense training session, Ubong expressed his excitement about the experience:

The player has recturned to his parent club Motril after one day trial and he is expecting to be called soonest after his impressive performance in the one day training.
Samson Ubong previously played for Buruj FC in the 2024 Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO). The club remains one of Nigeria’s top academies, dedicated to developing young talents and preparing them for successful football careers.
