New Talent Joins Buruj Sports Academy

Buruj Sports Academy has welcomed an exciting new addition to its ranks as 16-year-old left winger, Aku-Anthony Lemuel Ajeka, officially joined the academy today.

The young prospect, who hails from Kogi State and was born in Lagos State, arrived at the academy in the company of his mother. Speaking during his arrival, his mother revealed that Lemuel has long nurtured a deep passion for football, a dream he began pursuing while his father was still alive.According to her, his determination and love for the game have remained strong over the years, driving him to seek opportunities to develop his talent.

The young winger also shared his admiration for Spanish giants FC Barcelona and revealed that his role model is Lionel Messi, whose style of play, discipline, and success continue to inspire him.

Expressing his joy, Aku-Anthony Lemuel Ajeka said he is delighted that his dream is gradually becoming a reality. He promised to remain dedicated, work hard, and make his family proud through his football journey.

He further promised to perform at his best and contribute positively to the team’s success in the ongoing NLO 2026 season.In addition to his football ambitions, Lemuel is currently an SS3 student and is set to sit for the West African Examinations Council examinations in two weeks’ time, showing his commitment to balancing both education and sports.

Buruj Sports Academy remains committed to nurturing young talents, and Lemuel’s arrival adds another promising name to its growing list of future stars.
